What should I be aware of before making an application on behalf of my Club?

Applications from sports clubs who have previously applied for or received a Texaco Sportstars Bursary are permitted but those received from clubs who have previously been awarded a Texaco Support for Sport award will not be accepted.
Applicants must hold a valid GS Exemption Number (Games and Sports Exemption Number) issued by the Office of the Revenue Commissioners in respect of sports bodies who have been granted tax exemption under Section 235 of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997. What happens if my sports club does not feature on the list published by the Office of the Revenue Commissioners on the 30th June 2024?
If your sports club does not feature on this list, your club will be unable to enter the Texaco Support for Sport 2025 initiative.
Why can’t I select my sports club?
There are three reasons why you may be unable to select your sports club:
1. If you do not see your sports club on the dropdown menu, it means that it did not feature on the GS Exemption Number list published by the Office of the Revenue Commissioners on the 30th June 2024.
2. Equally, your club may have won a Texaco Support for Sport Award already so it is not eligible to apply again and will therefore not feature.
3. However, if you see your sports club but are unable to select it, an application for your club has already been submitted on behalf of your sports club. Please contact Help if you are concerned that the person submitting the application is not authorised to do so.
